A plus is that if you make it with non dairy milk, like we do, (using soy, oats or almond milk) you could make this recipe to be vegan. If you are vegan, you do, however, have to make sure the rest of the ingredients have no traces of animal products, which sometimes happens.

Overnight oats recipe

My sister makes this all the time, every other night, and then when the morning comes, and just takes it out of the fridge and eats it for breakfast. Her favorite fruits to use with this are strawberries or mangos, but you can basically use anything you like, I´m thinking berries, banana, kiwi, peaches, apple, grapes, etc. Consider this the base recipe, and then add whatever you want to make it taste differently.

You could make chocolate overnight oats, for example, adding a little cocoa poder to the mixture, maybe some cinnamon and chocolate chips. Another great flavor is adding apple and cinnamon. We will probably post different flavors of overnight oats in the next posts, because it is an easy recipe that is quick and easy to make for breakfast or snack.

We like adding some chia seeds, because they give it a good texture. If you do not like chia seeds, you can skip it and use any other type of seeds instead.
