- Preheat the oven to 180° C. Grease with a little butter or place baking paper in a deep rectangular baking pan of approximately 25 cm x 12 cm. Separately, in a medium bowl, sift the flour with the baking soda and salt. Mix with a spoon and set aside.
- In a large bowl add the banana and mash it with a fork until a thick puree is obtained. Add the two types of sugar and mix with a balloon whisk for a few seconds. Add the eggs with the oil and sour cream. Beat for a few seconds more until all the ingredients are perfectly integrated.
- Add the flour mixture in two additions, beating for 10 seconds after each addition to obtain a smooth, lump-free mixture. Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix just until incorporated.
- Carefully pour the mixture into the pan and bake at 180° C for about 1 hour until lightly browned and a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove the bread from the oven once it is ready and let it rest for 20 minutes inside the mold. Then unmold it and place it on a wire rack to cool completely. Ready!
