- Place baking paper or plastic wrap in a small rectangular mold of approximately 7.80 inches x 5.90 inches (20 cm x 15 cm).
- Melt the chocolate in pieces with the butter, which can be done in two ways. The first is in a double boiler, placing a medium saucepan with plenty of water over medium heat. Then, add both ingredients to a large heat-resistant bowl and place it on top of the pot with water (without touching the water) so that they melt with the steam. The second is in the microwave, adding both ingredients to a medium microwave-safe bowl and then melting them for 30-second intervals, i.e., put the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds and take it out after this time to mix a little with a spoon. Repeat the process until the chocolate is completely melted.
- To the same bowl with the chocolate, add the oatmeal cookies, oat flakes, cocoa powder and pinch of salt. Mix with a rubber spatula until all the ingredients are perfectly integrated and a slightly thick paste is formed.
- To form the nougat, arrange a layer of fiber cookies in the base of the mold, if necessary the cookies can be cut to fit well. Then add a third of the chocolate paste on top and spread it evenly with a spoon.
- Repeat this process two more times until 3 layers of chocolate paste and cookies are formed. Once the nougat is ready, cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 2 hours to give it more shape.
- Once refrigerated, cut the nougat into approximately 8 or 9 portions and it is ready.
