Last October, I was lucky enough to go to Disney, and among the many things I tried, one of the things that surprised me most was the famous Dole Whip. This dessert, which is sold there, has been very popular everywhere for some time now, especially on social media.

If you’re not familiar with it, Dole Whip is like a soft pineapple ice cream, ultra-creamy, light, and with a tropical flavor that transports you straight to a beach in Hawaii. It’s one of those Disney classics that you can’t miss, and believe me: it lives up to the hype because it’s delicious. You’re going to love it.

Ever since I tried it at Disney, I’ve been a little obsessed with recreating it at home. I wanted to be able to eat it whenever I wanted. I tried several recipes until I found one that, honestly, I think is very close to the original.

Obviously, being at Disney makes it even more special, with all the atmosphere, warmth, and excitement of being at the theme park. But this recipe has its own charm, and the best part is that you can enjoy it wherever you want. And above all, you can make it with ingredients that are very easy to find anywhere.

What I like most about Dole Whip is that it’s the perfect dessert or snack for summer, or for any month when it’s really hot.
It’s super refreshing, very light, not at all cloying, uses very few ingredients, and is naturally sweet thanks to the pineapple itself.

For us, it’s the best way to say goodbye to summer. For when you’re craving something sweet but not too heavy. Plus, you don’t need an ice cream maker.

Method
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend for approximately 1-2 minutes until thick and smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a Tupperware container or ice cream container, close tightly, and freeze for 1 hour.
- Serve the Dole Whip directly into 2 individual glasses and consume immediately. For a more authentic experience, place the mixture in a pastry bag with a large star tip and serve the ice cream in a spiral shape.
