Even when I love the typical lemonade, which is pretty common here, something more elaborated is much better, like this strawberry kiwi water smoothie.
So far I haven´t yet met anyone who doesn´t like strawberries, and if you don´t then I´m sorry and you can go ahead and fin a lot of recipes in this blog without strawberries. The thing is that strawberry and kiwi is an almost perfect match, because strawberries are sweet and kiwis acid, making it hard for you to stop drinking this, given it is not too sweet not too anything really. Oh but you do have to add sugar otherwise the kiwi acidness will overpower the whole thing. We added to tbsp of sugar but you can easily add whatever amount you want to taste, or you can also use honey, brown sugar or any other healthier sweetener.

- 2 C frozen strawberries
- 3 fresh kiwis
- 1 C ice
- 2 C water
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (or amount to taste)
- On a cutting board, peel and cut the kiwis in medium chunks, then set aside.
- In a blender place the frozen strawberries, kiwis, ice, and water and blend until everything´s well incorporated (you can add some more water if needed)
- Add the sugar and blend again until well mixed.
