Gluten-free healthy banana pancakes

As of lately I have definitely been trying to eat healthier. And this is part of it all. I still eat pretty much whatever I want, I Just try to make healthier choices, when it comes to ingredients. So, I told my sister about this, and she then made these pancakes one day that we had some riped bananas no one was eating.

She told me there was no added sugar in them and I just could not believe it. This recipe has no flour nor sugar. Although this is not vegan, because it does call for eggs, but I´m sure it could easily be replaced using egg substitute, or using more banana and some baking powder, but hey if you´re vegan you can try it and let me know, also be sure to check out healthy vegan brownies recipe, you will love it.

Also perfect about this? You only need a blender! put it all in there, blend and then cook on a pan. No mess.

Eat these with some maple or agave syrup.

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 rolled oats
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 tbsp milk , any type you like
  • Butter or oil for cooking
  1. Place a pan on the stove and heat to medium.

  2. Chop the bananas in small chunks. Now place the chunks in a blender with the rest of the ingredients and blend. 

  3. One the pan is hot enough add some oil or butter for cooking, and pour about 1/2 C of butter to make each pancake (or make them the size you want), flipping them only once.
