Strawberry lemonade is one of my favorite drinks, and the truth is it is really easy and simple to make. I many cities they actually sell strawberry lemonade pretty much everywhere you go, while in many other cities you just can’t find it anywhere. Particularly in Canada, it is common to drink strawberry lemonade, and I believe this is also the case in some places in the United States. In Mexico they sell it some places, but here in Spain, not so much.
I’m really into any beverage that is fresh and sweet (those who know me already know I’m a sucker for sweet things). In the middle of the summer this is just ideal, because of the ice. It is cold and sweet, perfect for a sunny day.
An important thing to mention is that our recipe for this strawberry lemonade does not call for alcohol, but if you wanted to you could add some. It would taste great with some tequila, vodka or gin, in small quantities. You could also add in some other fruit into the mixture like raspberry or kiwi, and it will be amazing!.
For this recipe you can use either lemons or limes, or a combination of both. I think it tastes just as good with lime as it does with lemons, but you just use whatever you like best, because they do taste a bit different.
And for decorating, do not forget to put some lemon or lime slices on the rim of the glasses you are serving it in, and some other slices inside the glass too.
With this recipe there’s nothing that could go worng. It is simple, easy and quick. And with our recipe you will have the perfect lemon or lime to strawberry ratio, combined with the freshness of using ice, there is nothing better.
